D.L. Hughley and David Alan Grier Late Night Show Reviews

I don't consider myself an expert on being a show critic but I do consider myself an expert on being black in America. I know what we need and I know what we don't need. What we don't need is more trashy and ignorant black comedy shows. I truly understand like never before that the black race cannot depend on black entertainers to present the right image of black america. After watching D.L. Hughley's show on CNN D.L. Hughley Breaks the News and David Alan Grier's show on Comedy Central Chocolate News, I cannot be more disqusted with our black comedians than I am right now. It is a disgrace that black america is not represented better than the trash these guys are spewing out. The absurd creativity these guys feel they need to display to the world about black people is beyond me. It is time to stop laughing at the mockery and time to start standing up to black comedians. Their jokes aren't funny and their timing is way off too! At present time we are on the cusp of electing the first African American President in US American history. This guy is intelligent, charismatic, educated, and dignified. Senator Obama is unlike any African American the world has seen since Martin Luther King Jr, but look at D.L. Hughley and David Alan Grier. They are allowing their raunchy and explicitly ignorant demoralizing shows to be exploited during such a momentous time as now and as always guess who the joke is on......Yes you guessed it, their own race. They can't get enough of poking fun at their own race. They encourage everyone in the world to perceive black americans as ignorant people with no class. I want to say that D.L. Hughley and David Alan Grier do not speak for nor represent black america. We are 20 times better than their idea of us. Their shows need to be dropped immediately.
